How it works
Monthly gross is the sum of basic salary and allowances. Annual gross adds 12 months plus the annual bonus. An estimate of income tax is computed from the annual gross using the income-tax engine (general taxpayer), and other deductions are subtracted to give the net monthly figure.
Example calculation
For a monthly basic of ৳30,000, house rent ৳12,000, medical ৳2,000, transport ৳1,500, other allowances ৳1,000 and an annual bonus of ৳20,000:
- Gross monthly ≈ ৳46,500
- Estimated annual tax ≈ ৳17,800
- Estimated take-home ≈ ৳45,683 / month
Important notes
- This is an estimate, not an official payroll calculation.
- House rent allowance exemption limits, provident fund and employer policies can change the result.
